Mission Statement

Hello! I'm Kelly Willard.

From the very beginning of my journey into ministry through music my theme has been the Love of God.
It still is.

I feel that if I can convey just an ounce of God's Love to people who don't know how much He loves them, then those people might have an opportunity to know His Son, Jesus Christ, and what He has done for them. I believe that as we get to know God and His great Love for us, it compels us to worship and praise Him. It is not a hard thing to thank and adore someone who has done something wonderful for us, is it!

Over the years I have had the blessed opportunity to sing concerts/minister in churches, audutoriums, state and federal prisons, juvenile detention facilities, nursing homes and homes for the mentally ill. My theme has stayed the same. The Love of God. I do not 'preach'... I sing God's Love over people. I believe the rest is up to The Holy Spirit. (And, it always seems that I receive so much more than I give out!)

During this season of my life I have had the increasing desire to go to the places that do not have it in their budget to bring people in to sing, such as prisons, institutions, etc. I have often wondered, "Who goes to these people and sings to them?" This is what I sense The Lord urging me to do. So, my plan is to go and sing in as many Christian venues as I possibly can, selling my CDs, and raising the money needed to "Go into all the world and preach(sing!) The Gospel." I am trusting God to bring in the financial support for me, and possibly a team, to go into these places and not charge a thing. Just to give.

In the past I have had a problem with asking anyone straight out for money. I still have the same problem. But, I have begun to think it prideful of me not to at least give people the opportunity to give. So, I have begun a non-profit organization called Willing Heart Ministries. It is an umbrella that allows people to give donations towards the mission I have just described to you. I will not beg you for money, but I will give you the opportunity to support the specific ministry that is in my heart to do. There are so many who are in need of hearing about The One Who loves them unconditionally, Who made a way for them to come back to The Father through the blood of Jesus Christ, and Who cares so much about their lives.
